In recent years there has been a dramatic increase
in the occurrence of Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD's), or repetitive
motion disorders, and other work-related injuries and illnesses
due to ergonomic hazards. As a result, the number of OSHA penalties
issued against companies for these types of ergonomics-related safety
and health violations has increased. In addition, companies are
faced with escalating workers compensation and medical costs.
Pekron has developed comprehensive programs designed to recognize
and anticipate ergonomic concerns and alter the tools and environment
to reduce risk. Pekron's professional staff can provide a comprehensive
approach to ergonomic concerns which includes: worksite analysis,
hazard prevention and control, wellness/medical management, training
and education.
